Caught in the cold, pristine waters of Aomori’s Tsugaru Strait, the same legendary fishing grounds as the renowned Oma Bluefin, this WILD Japan Premium Auction Tuna represents the highest quality of wild bluefin tuna. Known for its vibrant deep red color, exceptional marbling, and perfectly balanced fat content, each cut offers a melt-in-your-mouth texture and rich umami flavor that stands apart.

Hand-selected at Japan’s prestigious Toyosu auctions, these tuna are harvested using the ikejime method to preserve peak freshness and maintain the highest level of texture and quality from sea to plate. This is the same grade of tuna reserved for Tokyo’s finest restaurants and typically unattainable to the general public.

Only a limited number of these premium fish are brought to market each season. Restocks are unpredictable and depend entirely on seasonal availability.

Recommended Conservation

Store in a regular freezer for up to 3 days. Once thawed, keep it in the fridge for up to 1 day and consume immediately for the best taste. Do not refreeze after thawing.

Shipping Information

Shipped in insulated bag to preserve optimal temperature. Ice packs included, dry ice if necessary. Product contained in vacuum-sealed bag.

Thawing Instruction

1. Prepare water with 30g of salt for every 4.2 cups of water and add ice.
2. Place the vacuum-sealed fish in ice water for approximately 2-3 hours, until it has finished thawing.
