Norwegian Scampi (Langoustine)

A rare delicacy, this pink and orange member of the lobster family lives in the deep burrows of the New Zealand seas anywhere from 200-800 meters deep. Flash frozen at sea for the highest quality preservation, it's white, meaty flesh is sweet and succulent, similar to that of a lobster's but more delicate. It can be prepared raw as sashimi, barbequed, baked or marinated. 1.1lbs of scampi per case.
