Product description
Kohada (Shad) is considered to be "hikarimono", meaning silver-skinned fish in Japanese. Its season is from June to February. It has three different names depending on the age and size, with Shink being the smallest. When Kohada is in its second stage, it is called baby shad. When it becomes an adult, it is referred to as Nakazumi. Each order is roughly 1.1 LBs, but weight will vary.
