Tasmanian Ocean Trout is renowned for its vibrant color and creamy texture, featuring distinctive marbling and a delicious flavor. Often referred to as the "wagyu of the sea," this trout is sourced from the remote coastal waters of Tasmania. It is cultivated in the Heritage-listed Macquarie Harbour, where the brackish water—a mix of freshwater and saltwater—creates the ideal conditions for aquaculture. Perfect sushi grade fish for sashimi & sushi.
Each piece of Tasmanian Ocean Trout varies in size and weight; please use the weight range per piece as a guideline. Tails and collars (kama) are sold separately in pairs.

In a regular freezer for up to 2 months. Once thawed, keep in fridge for up to 1 day. Best to eat immediately after thawing. Do not freeze again after thawing.

Product contained in vacuum-sealed bag. Ice packs included, dry ice if necessary.
Thawing Instruction
Thawing Instruction
1. Take the product out of the sealed bag and rinse it under cool running water.
2. Pat it dry with a paper towel, then wrap it in a fresh paper towel.
3. Place it in the refrigerator to thaw for approximately 12 to 24 hours.
