Tuna Tartare

This fresh and elegant Tuna Tartare is a restaurant-quality dish you can whip up in minutes. Made with sashimi-grade tuna, creamy avocado, and a zesty soy-lime dressing, it’s the perfect appetizer or light meal when you want something fancy but effortless.
Ingredients:
- 6 oz sashimi-grade tuna, finely diced
- 1 small ripe avocado, diced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 tsp lime juice
- 1 tsp finely chopped chives (optional)
- 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Wonton chips or cucumber slices, for serving
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, gently combine the tuna and avocado.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and lime juice.
- Pour the dressing over the tuna and avocado mixture. Toss gently to coat.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chives (if using).
- Spoon the tartare into a mold or small bowl, then invert onto a plate for presentation.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately with wonton chips or cucumber slices.
