Tuna Tartare
This fresh and elegant Tuna Tartare is a restaurant-quality dish you can whip up in minutes. Made with sashimi-grade tuna, creamy avocado, and a zesty soy-lime dressing, it’s the perfect appetizer or light meal when you want something fancy but effortless.

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz sashimi-grade tuna, finely diced
  • 1 small ripe avocado, diced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 tsp lime juice
  • 1 tsp finely chopped chives (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Wonton chips or cucumber slices, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, gently combine the tuna and avocado.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, and lime juice.
  3. Pour the dressing over the tuna and avocado mixture. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and chives (if using).
  5. Spoon the tartare into a mold or small bowl, then invert onto a plate for presentation.
  6. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately with wonton chips or cucumber slices.
