Seared Tuna Tataki
Tataki is a great way to have sashimi-grade fish at home. It’s a method of cooking where fish is seared very quickly over high heat, leaving it rare on the inside for a lovely contrast of flavor. A citrus ginger dipping sauce comes together in 5 minutes and the whole dish is healthy, easy and delicious.

Method
Citrus Ginger Dipping Sauce: In a small bowl, add scallions, ginger, lemon juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Whisk to combine and set aside.
Tuna: In a non-stick skillet over medium high heat, add oil. When shimmering, add tuna and sear for 30 seconds. Turn and sear another 30 seconds. Repeat until all sides are seared. Remove from heat and let cool. Using a sharp serrated knife, slice tuna into ¼-inch slices.
To serve: spread some dipping sauce on a serving plate. Arrange tuna tataki slices over the sauce. Place some shiso leaves and grated radish. Serve with more dipping sauce, lemon wedges and a sprinkle of sesame seeds (optional).
