Crab Cakes

Crab Cakes
Golden on the outside, tender on the inside—these crab cakes are made with sweet lump crab meat, herbs. A simple classic with just a touch of refinement.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lump crab meat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or butter for frying

 

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, gently mix crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayo, egg, mustard, Worcestershire, Old Bay, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape into 6–8 cakes and chill for 15 minutes to help them hold together.
  3. Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Fry cakes 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
