Sushi Grade, Superfrozen Bluefin Tuna Negitoro

Is a mixture of akami (lean), chu-toro (medium fatty), and o-toro (fatty) tuna. Negitoro is a highly desired temaki (hand roll) at sushi restaurants. Our processors use generous amounts of chu-toro and o-toro in the mix, as we only use the best cuts for saku blocks used for nigiri. We do our best to remove as much tendons/sinews as possible but there will always be some in the set. We advise you to mince the negitoro finely and add scallions (purchased separately) to make your own negitoro at home!

Japan Premium Negitoro (limited)

Premium farm-raised bluefin tuna from southern Japan raised with the highest quality feed and individually line caught one by one. Due to it not being mass-produced or processed, this tuna is handled with extreme care. The taste is much different than any farmed bluefin from other parts of the world. Much cleaner and has a mild taste.

Each pack is approximately 0.5 LB, superfrozen at -70F to preserve peak quality.

Recommended Conservation: 

• In a regular freezer for up to 3 days.
• Once thawed, keep in fridge for up to 1 day, Best to eat immediately after thawing
• Do not freeze again after thawing.
