Sushi Grade, Superfrozen Bluefin Tuna Negitoro

Is a mixture of akami (lean), chu toro (medium fatty), and o-toro (fatty) scrapes. Negitoro is a highly desired temaki (hand roll) or roll at sushi restaurants. Our processors use generous amounts of chu-toro (medium fatty) and o-toro (fatty) tuna in the mix as we only use the best cuts for saku blocks used for nigiri. We do our best to remove as much tendons/sinews as possible but there will always be some in the set. We advise you to mince the negitoro finely and add scallions (purchased separately) to make your own negitoro at home!

Japan Premium Negitoro (limited)

Premium farm-raised bluefin tuna from southern Japan raised with the highest quality feed and individually line caught one by one. Due to it not being mass-produced or processed, watch tuna is handled with extreme care. The taste is much different than any farmed bluefin from other parts of the world. Much cleaner and has a mild taste.

Each pack is approximately 0.5 LB

All of our pieces are superfrozen at -70°F to conserve quality.

Recommended Conservation: 

  • In a regular freezer for up to 7 days.
  • Once thawed, keep in fridge for 1-2 days, Best to eat immediately
  • Do not freeze again after thawing.
